Dr. Nazim Can Isiktac completed his PHD degree at Istanbul University in private international law. His thesis subject is related to arbitration. He was also the co-chair of Young ISTAC’s International Relations Commissions.
Throughout his career he has been involved in multinational investment and construction projects, prepared and negotiated agreements, represented banks and companies on every level, gave opinions on bank letter of credits, negotiated, mediated, settled and litigated transnational cases, insurance claims, shareholder conflicts as well as commercial, bankruptcy, enforcement and employment law cases.
He is taking an active role in expanding the usage of alternative dispute resolution methods in Turkey. For this he has been publishing articles, lecturing future mediators and took an active role under Young ISTAC.
He is also a regular participant of The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey’s Automotive Assembly and a writer at TOKKDER publication. He teaches American Law classes at Altinbas University. He is a member of Istanbul Arbitration Association and Istanbul Bar’s Arbitration Commission.
